A.A.Z –> 22nd May 7 – 9pm

A.A.Z is an event dedicated to those who create in the interest of discovering new sounds. It presents an opportunity for artists and noise makers to demonstrate their efforts in a setting that encourages exploration. For this particular event, A.A.Z welcomes Stewart Collinson and his hacked electronic sound workshop to become part of the Crocodiles With A Second Skin Thrash exhibition; to integrate themselves into the artworks and dynamics of the space.

REEL-3 –> 25^th May 7-9pm (doors at 6:30pm)

REEL-3 is an evening of video, animation and live art by those native and creative in Lincoln and beyond, hosted in a new artist-run gallery space, Over + Out. For the third installment in May, guest curator and artist Thomas Cuthbertson presents a video reel of short animations & videos by artists in moving visual media and live accompaniment to short films by Somnophilia and Fragrant Stems. The line-up includes Louise K Wilson, Yuen Fong Ling and Stewart Collinson (artists and staff at the University of Lincoln), Doug Fishbone, David Blandy, Jonas Bjerre ( 1/4 of Apparatjik & 1/3 of Mew) from Denmark, Lauren Kinley & creative students from University of Lincoln. This event is part of the closing night for Crocodiles with a Second Skin Thrash, it is a great opportunity to see the exhibition before it ends.

Admission and refreshments are free! You are also welcome to bring your own food & drinks and please spread the word!

REEL is a new video-based art platform based at Over + Out, on the fringe of the city of Lincoln. For future reels, submit your work by emailing overandoutlincoln@live.co.uk to show your interest.
